From here, you’ll also see the distant Twardy Grzbiet Ciemniaka, a notable ridge in the area.
The trail continues along Kościeliski Stream, passing charming meadows like Cudakowa Polana and Stare Kościeliska, where you can take a moment to appreciate not only the landscapes but also the rich history of the place. In the 17th century, this valley was a hub for mining – old forges and a small chapel for workers once stood here, from which the valley’s name may have originated.
Make sure to stop at the Zbójnicka Chapel, which stands by the path. Despite its name, it is believed to have been built by local workers rather than brigands, as the name would suggest.
