What to Expect on the Trail?

1. Starting Point – Kuźnice The trail starts in Kuźnice, which is easily accessible from Zakopane. You can take a bus from the city center to Kuźnice in 5-10 minutes. From here, you’ll head toward the Dolina Bystrej, where the trail runs alongside the stream. You’ll hear the sound of water for most of the first part of the hike.

2. Dolina Kasprowa After a few minutes, you’ll reach Dolina Kasprowa. At this point, the trail begins to climb, and the surrounding forests become more picturesque. As you go higher, the trail becomes steeper, and soon you’ll reach Myślenickie Turnie (1360 m above sea level).

3. Myślenickie Turnie – Rest Stop with a View At Myślenickie Turnie, you’ll find the first opportunity to take a break. From here, you’ll get a beautiful view of Giewont and the Red Peaks. Take a moment to rest on a bench or a nearby rock and enjoy the breathtaking landscape. It’s also the perfect time to appreciate how high you’re climbing.

4. Upward Trail Through the Forest After Myślenickie Turnie, the trail becomes more challenging. You’ll soon enter the forest, which gives way to a zone of mountain pine (kosodrzewina). The views become even more spectacular as you start to notice the rocky formations. This is when you’ll clearly see Giewont, the Red Peaks, and Zawrat Kasprowy.

5. Summit – Kasprowy Wierch After passing through the mountain pine and alpine meadows, you’ll finally reach the summit. The view from Kasprowy Wierch is the ultimate reward for your efforts. On one side, you can see the Gąsienicowa Valley with Kościelec and the Granaty Peaks, while on the other, there’s Giewont, the Red Peaks, and the Sucha Pass.
