A Brief Introduction to the History and Uniqueness of the Trail
Walking this trail takes you through one of the most beautiful sections of the Western Tatras, leading to the highest peak of the range, Bystrá (2248 m a.s.l.). From Kościeliska Valley, through Ornak, to Błyszcz and Bystrá, you’ll have an unforgettable adventure. This trail is special for its expansive views of the High Tatras, as well as the unique opportunity to cross the border between Poland and Slovakia at the summit of Bystrá.
Along the way, you’ll encounter valleys, forests, mountain passes, and peaks, feeling close to nature like never before. The final section of the trail takes you to the Slovak side, and thanks to the Schengen Area, there are no formalities at the border for hikers.
